My Funny Lincoln

Lincoln is a thinker and often he will get sudden uncontrollable giggles over something he has just thought of or figured out.

A couple of days ago I was serving lunch and Lincoln started giggling so hard he nearly fell out of his chair.

“What is so funny?!” I asked him.

“Well…when I was in kindergarten we had a practice lunch to get ready for first grade…but I didn’t even really need to practice, I eat lunch all the time!!!”

I haven’t been able to stop laughing since.

  • I love when he giggles like that. Sometimes he gets that way in the car and I want to pull over to make sure he's not passed out from laughing. When he gets going he can't stop. He tricked them. He didn't need to practice.

    LOL! That has me laughing too. I seriously think that your kids come up with some the greatest thing. Thay have great imaginations. I love the simple way children think.

    That is so funny. It is pretty silly to practice eating lunch, isn't it!

    BTW, I'm glad to see him playing with the buttons you bought on our outing! :)

    Kim, Lincoln is so funny. I really tried to sit and listen to him while you visited in August. He really is so intelligent and wonders about important things.

    Lincoln Rocks! I got a kick out of his phone message the other day....then it was funny to hear him and Curtis talk on the phone for like an hour an a half! We need to go camping again!
  • He sounds a lot like my 12-year-old. One minute he could be a stand-up comedian and the other he can be found pondering life's mysteries. Very funny story.
