We got to Lincoln’s soccer practice and the field was empty. Apparently, they don’t cancel soccer because of rain, snow, hail, or sleet in Seattle, but they do cancel for a beautiful sunny day.
As we were pulling out of the parking lot Lincoln said, “Awww, I wanted to have practice because I am learning some tricks”.
I asked him what he had learned and I thought his answer was pretty great. So here you go…the three most important “tricks” to soccer:
1. Look where the ball is
2. Keep up!
3. Watch where you are going
