Lincoln had a doctor’s appointment today. We had been waiting in the exam room for about ten minutes when the doctor hurriedly walked in the door and said, “I apologize for the wait. We are really busy today.”
Without missing a beat Lincoln chimed in, “You do not have to apologize to us. You did not do anything wrong.”
The doctor and I both paused and looked at each other with weird looks as we tried not to laugh and the doctor said, “Now that is one proper and polite little boy.”
I think he was just brown nosing, but whatever the case…I think we’ll keep him!
