I am amazed all the time with what my kids know that I had no idea they knew. Luca spits out math equations and solutions that I would have never thought she would know and spells words back to me when I am trying to stump her with tricky ones.
They also amaze me at times with things they DON’T know. Tonight we were coming home from soccer and I said, “Luca, your new friend Holly who is on your team is Mormon like us!”
She replied in a disinterested tone, “What’s a Mormon?”
(Luca, you have only been going to the same church nearly every Sunday of the seven years of your life!)
